Installations

Site Specific

'Inner Space' is a site specific installation created within the beautiful grounds of the Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle WA, U.S.A. 3 sheets of coloured glass placed at angles and held by tension between the trunks of the tree. The work responds directly to my connection and interaction with the space and
the surrounding environment, whilst exploring the optical qualities of glass, transparency and reflection.

Pilchuck Glass School, 2007

Space, Light and Glass, headed by Marian Karel and Daniel Hanzlik, focused our thinking towards the optical phenomenology of glass to express the ephemeral relationship between space and light. The study of architectural form, spatial concepts, and acute interpretation of the ethereal qualities of glass for artists interested in non-objective sculpture.

Pilchuck Glass School is a residential school that allows professional artists the freedom to explore new ideas and techniques within their own
working practice.
