'Inner Space' 2009 is an installation designed for The Quenington Sculpture Trust - Fresh Air 2009
exhibition in Gloucestershire.
The installation incorporates a pair of mirror panels sandblasted with an abstracted leaf design. The design itself is reflected across the two panels creating a butterfly print effect. The matt, sandblasted areas allow the sunlight and shadows to dance ocross the surface of the glass whilst the mirrors reflect
their surroundings, creating a window into a reflected world, the image changing with every second that passes.
Each panel is mounted at a 45 degree angle to a painted steel post which is
pushed into the ground giving the impression that the mirrors are hovering
within the herbaceous border.
