Family Portrait

The initial briefing meeting between myself, the client and the gallery is an opportunity to explain the design processes and
techniques involved in commissioning a Passing Series artwork, it is also a chance for me to find out a little bit about the family, their names, interests and particular characteristics. The client then provides a varied selection of recent family photographs, some of them action shots, some static, from which I am able to start developing the design ideas. During the presentation of the design proposals to the client we are able to discuss the options and agree the way forward. with an interim meeting during the making process, usually at the studio, to agree the final graphics for the sandblasting to the mirror.
